The year was 1984, Daniel LaRusso and Ali Mills have a pretty cool putt-putt first date. While this wasn’t exactly Texas, California to be exact, I always noted it as good “first date” idea. Okay, so, yeah, why the heck am I starting off with this meaningless Karate Kid trivia, let’s fast forward to a small town in central Texas, Coleman. Hidden just between the highway and downtown is a cool, sweet spot for a good round of putt-putt! Fun, challenging and well laid out. Really, just a cool spot to enjoy good weather, laughter, great music, family and friends. The spot “Groovy Golf”. We enjoyed every putt! For something like this in a rural community is rare and I applaud the owners for the vision. It’s not easy opening small business’ like this outside of big cities, but what an addition to this town. No matter what the age, if you’re around Coleman, TX, and have the time, stop by if just for some snazzy selfies in this colorful arena! You can’t get any more Texas than investing in big dreams! The owners, well, if they’re around, introduce yourself and get the full background in these fellow Texans. After all, it’s all about the people!
